Weavering Sequence Dance Club
About
We are a small friendly club for sequence dancers that meets every Monday from 2pm to 4pm at Weavering Village Hall (Maidstone ME14 5JP, behind the Fox and Goose public house). We dance most of the popular sequence dances (see list of examples later). Charges are currently £2.50 per person.

Dancing is acknowledged as being one of the best ways to exercise both the mind and the body.

FAQs
Do you teach the dances?
There is no formal teaching, but we do each dance twice so that new people can follow it the first time through and try it out the second time. If you are having a problem with any of the dances then someone will always help you out.

What dances do you do?
We do most of the popular sequence dances such as: Square Tango, Rumba 1, Mayfair Quickstep, Sally Ann Cha Cha, Balmoral Blues, Valentino Jive, White City Waltz, Katherine Waltz, Tango Serida, Lets Swing etc.
Do I need a dance partner?
If you are willing and able to act as the 'leader' in the dances then you do not need to bring a partner; if you are only able to dance as a 'follower' then you will need to bring one.
